Nadi Pareeksha( Pulse Diagnosis)-In SSA Ayurvedic Doctors are well trained in this ancient yet precise method of diagnosis in which Doctor by touching the pulse of patient comes to know about the Body type and the disease. Accuracy of treatment is thus much more as diet, life style, and medicines are given according to particular individual. This helps in assessing the disease prognosis also.
Ayurvedic treatments
Abhyangam (Body Massage) - Ayurvedic full body oil massage to rejuvenate body. Releases body stress and pain.
Sirodhara (Pouring of medicated oil on head) - An extremely effective treatment to release tension from the nervous system. Very effective in sleeplessness, Headache, Anxiety neurosis, Hair loss.
Marma -Gently touching the vital points of the body. There are some vital points in our body through which energy flows; any disease is more or less related with the blockage in these channels. By gently touching these points energy flow is regained and it leaves you relaxed and refreshed. Effective in Hypertension, anxiety, epilepsy, insomnia and other mental disorders.
Marma Prana- This is a special treatment which involves pressing, stretching and gentle rotation of body parts. This improves the blood circulation, reduces stiffness in body and thus is very effective in ailments like spondylitis, frozen shoulder, back pain, neck pain.
Best part of Marma & Marma Prana is that there is no use of Oils and so can be taken during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Head and foot massage - Head and foot massage relieves the stress and rejuvenates the whole body.
Facial marma and massage - Relaxes and strengthens the jaw, eye and facial muscles. Also effective in facial paralysis.
Netra tarpana - Eye treatment .Soothes burning sensation in eyes and improves vision
Karna purana - Ear treatment which improves hearing power and is helpful in tinnitus.
Swedana(Steaming) - an ayurvedic sweating treatment helps in the release of toxins and found to be vey effective for Stiffness or Pain in body.
Nasyam - Nasal administration of medicated oils, powders. Cures allergic sinusitis, Rhinitis, Migraine headache, Facial paralysis etc.
Vamana - Medically induced vomiting. Very helpful in diseases like Skin diseasese, psoriasis, Asthma, Obesity.
Virechana - Medicated purgation very helpful as a treatment of digestive problems, liver diseases, skin diseases, Obesity.
Vasti- Medicated Enema. Useful in body pain, paralysis, gynecological disorders.
Kati basti- Treatment for the back pain.
Janubasti- It is very good for the Knee pain.
